Forgiveness isn't about them owning up to their mistakes. It's about you releasing the hold their mistakes have on your heart.
"Angry at God? 1. You aren’t alone. In the Bible, we see Jeremiah was mad at God. 2. In Jeremiah 20 he even expressed his anger toward God. 3. But he praised in spite of his anger. 4. We all experience anger toward God at some points in life. But when we praise through the anger, God makes himself known to us."
God’s people have no business holding onto bitterness.
Bitterness is like glitter. It might feel like a good idea in the moment but it gets on everything and will create long-term frustration.
Remember: your enemies are the same people God is passionately pursuing.
