1: The best memorial to September 11th isn't a moment of silence. It's a life well lived... 2: Call someone you've been meaning to call. 3: Tell the people in your life that you love them. 4: Do something kind for a stranger. That spirit was alive on September 12th. 5: Pray for the families who still feel this day like it was yesterday. 6: Show up for your community. That's what they did for each other. 7: Live like every day is borrowed time. Because it is. 8: Honor them by being the kind of person willing to run toward danger for the sake of others.

1: Before Labor Day existed, God talked about work. 2: Work was God's idea before the fall. It was never the punishment. (Genesis 2:15) 3: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. (Colossians 3:23) 4: God Himself worked six days and rested on the seventh. The rhythm was built in on purpose. 5: Your work is not separate from your faith. It is an expression of it. 6: The goal was never to work less. It was to work with meaning. 7: Happy Labor Day. Go rest. You've earned it. God modeled that too.

1: You are so valuable. 2: God paid attention to every detail when He formed you. 3. God gave his very best for you. 4. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. 5: You were designed with a purpose in mind. 6: You are so so so so valuable.

Slide 1: If everything was stripped away… Who would you still be?
Slide 2: You are not your job title. Not your platform. Not your achievements. Not even the role you serve in at church.
Slide 3: You are not your past mistakes. Not the opinions people formed about you. Not the labels placed on your life.
Slide 4: Your identity begins with this: You are His son. You are His daughter.
Before you ever did anything for God, you were already loved by Him.
Slide 5: Temporary things will always change, but your identity in Christ never will.

1: 3 things to know about wisdom 2: Wisdom begins with fearing the Lord. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." - Proverbs 9:10 3: Wisdom is to be actively sought out. "If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God." - Proverbs 2:4-5 4: God gives wisdom generously. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." - James 1:5

1: Pride will cost you more than you think. 2: Pride looks like: “I don’t need God for this.” “I already know.” “I can handle it on my own.” 3: Pride slowly hardens the heart, resists correction, and pushes God’s wisdom aside. 4: But choosing humility will help you listen, grow, and depend on God. 5: Before pride leads to a fall, choose humility. God can do more with a surrendered heart.

1: Here’s some super simple advice from the Bible today. 2: Watch your words. Proverbs 21:23. God gave a whole book of wisdom about the damage your mouth can do. 3: Get enough rest. Psalm 127:2. God literally built rest into creation. Then had to remind us to actually do it. 4: Don't overthink it. Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust God instead of leaning on your own understanding. We needed that in writing. 5: Be a good neighbor. Matthew 22:39. Love your neighbor as yourself. Still the hardest thing on this list. 6: Mind your own business. 1 Thessalonians 4:11. Yes. That is actually in the Bible. Word for word. 7: Be grateful. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. In everything give thanks. Not for everything. In everything. There's a difference. 8: God cares about your whole life. Not just the Sunday parts.
