Worship night

Worship night

Jun 22, 2026
1. Saying "I'll pray for you" and then actually remembering to pray for them. 2. Finally opening your Bible app for something other than checking your streak. 3. Hearing a song on the radio that hits different now that you actually know what it means. 4. When the pastor's sermon is clearly meant for the person next to you and not you at all. 5. When the worship song hits and you forget you're in public.

Read Lamentations. Perfect book for ugly crying. 5. Distant from God and want to find your way back? Read Hosea. 6. Feeling overlooked and underestimated? Read 1 Samuel. Overlooked shepherd boy becomes king.

1: God’s kindness isn’t permission to stay the same. It's meant to lead us somewhere. 2: Scripture says, “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?” 3: God’s kindness doesn't ignore our sin. Instead, it invites us to turn away from our wrongdoings and draw closer to Him. 4: Every second chance, every new start, every moment of grace is His kindness at work. God is calling you back.

Pray this if today feels heavy. 1. God, I feel overwhelmed and I don’t even know where to start. 2. My thoughts are loud. My heart feels tired. Please quiet the noise inside me. 3. I release what I cannot control. I surrender what I cannot fix. I give You what I cannot carry. 4. Fill my mind with Your peace, my body with rest, and my heart with hope. 5. I am not alone. You are with me here.

How to handle a difficult boss, biblically…1. If you’re wanting fire to fall from heaven and consume them, this post won’t help. But if you want God’s way…2. Work for a different boss. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” - Colossians 3:233. Don’t match their vibe. “A gentle answer turns away wrath.” - Proverbs 15:14. Pray for them. “Pray for those who persecute you.” - Matthew 5:445. Set boundaries respectfully. Just look at the life of Daniel.6. Remember: Your worth isn’t determined by your boss’s opinion of you.

I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. - Zephaniah 3:19

How to notice God in the small moments today.1. Notice the breath in your lungs. Each inhale is a gift. Each exhale, grace.2. Pay attention to ordinary beauty: sunlight through a window, wind in the trees, warm coffee in your hands.3. God often speaks in quiet whispers, not constant noise. Slow down enough to listen.4. Watch for kindness… a smile, a text, a small act of care. Grace often arrives through people.5. Interruptions may be invitations. God can work through detours and delays.6. Pause before rushing to the next thing. God is present in this moment, not just the next one.7. Give thanks for one small thing right now. Gratitude opens our eyes to God’s presence.8. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him.” - Psalm 145:18
