In the West, we're all about promotions and power and increase...but we're called to sacrifice ourselves. We're called to lay down our lives for others. Don't get so caught up chasing the American dream that you forget the Christian calling.
It seems we've completely lost sight of the concept of suffering with Christ in this generation.
