1: Before Labor Day existed, God talked about work. 2: Work was God's idea before the fall. It was never the punishment. (Genesis 2:15) 3: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. (Colossians 3:23) 4: God Himself worked six days and rested on the seventh. The rhythm was built in on purpose. 5: Your work is not separate from your faith. It is an expression of it. 6: The goal was never to work less. It was to work with meaning. 7: Happy Labor Day. Go rest. You've earned it. God modeled that too.

The same God who met you in church yesterday is at work with you today.
