Reading the Bible:
Want to know the heart and mind of God this month? Here’s a cool way to read the Bible.
Slide 1: God's Word... Slide 2: IS ALIVE "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12. Slide 3: NEVER FADES "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever." - Isaiah 40:8. Slide 4: IS OUR GUIDE "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105 Slide 5: IS OUR HOPE "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." - Romans 15:4 Slide 6: IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY "If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll." - Revelation 22:18-19
"For the word of God will never fail." - Luke 1:37
"Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." - Matthew 4:4
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16
"Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us." - Romans 15:4
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105
