Mercy

Happy Groundhog Day!

Ash Wednesday - Pause. Reflect.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. - Psalm 103:8

His mercies never fail. They are new every morning - Lamentations 3:22-23

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32

Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled

Though your sins are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson they shall be like wool. - Isaiah 1:18

Emmanuel doesn’t mean: God mad at us. It means: God with us.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. - Luke 6:38

God’s love is bigger than your sin

I will remember their sins no more

The world sees holiness as denying yourself a good time.

Happy.New Year.

We are ministers of reconciliation.

Be angry about what Jesus is angry about

Forgive

Jesus calls us to forgive not because it’s easy, but because it’s right.

Forgive and be forgiven

"Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” - Matthew 9:35-38
