1. A prayer for when you feel alone. 2. Father, the quiet feels heavy right now. There's a kind of loneliness that stays even in a crowded room, and I think you know that ache better than anyone. So I'm sitting with you in it, not pretending I'm fine. 3. Remind me that I was never really alone. Even when no one texts back, even when the people I love feel far away, you have not moved. You promised to never leave me. 4. Fill the spaces that feel empty. Not always with people, though I'd welcome that, but with a sense of you that goes deeper than company. Be the presence I feel when the room is silent. 5. And when the loneliness lingers longer than I'd like, keep me from numbing it or running from it. Let it draw me closer to you instead.
You weren't meant to carry it alone
You weren't designed to do life alone.
The person next to you at church isn’t perfect. You don’t need to pretend to be.
God is with You Today
We are the most connected generation in history and also the loneliest.
God designed you for community
"Better together" is not just a tagline. It's theology.
God brings the lonely into belonging
Some things are better in person. Church is one of them.
Don't walk alone
1: Isolation doesn't always look like being alone. 2: It's not replying to text or calls. 3: It's staying quiet in a room full of people. 4: It's not sharing what's really going on. 5: It's pulling away when life is overwhelming. 6: Isolation might feel comfortable, but it's slowly disconnecting you. 7: But this is your reminder, we weren't meant to do life alone. God created us for community and relationships.
I AM is with you
The loneliest place can become the closest place to God.
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. - Deuteronomy 31:8
1: Joy is still possible in hard seasons 2: Be honest with God. Bring all your emotions to Him. God can handle it. 3: Remember that seasons change. What feels painful today won't last forever. God is at work. 4: Stay connected in community. It's easy to isolate in hard seasons, but don't. Healing can happen when we walk through it with others. 5: Fix your eyes on God. Trust that He is still good. Hold on to His promises. 6: If you’re in a hard season right now, remember this: God has not left you. Even here, joy can still be found.
You are not a Christian alone; you are a member of a body. - St. Augustine
The Christian life is a shared journey.
Introverts need community too.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. - Matthew 28:20
"God loves each of us as if there were only one of us." — C.S. Lewis.
God never abandons us.
