The first thing in all God’s creation that was wrong was that someone was alone.
You weren’t meant to do life alone.
God didn’t design you to be Solo.
You need someone and someone needs you.
Church hurt is real, but so is God’s grace. Don’t let what someone did push you away from the goodness of God.
Draw near to God
Don’t hide the real you from the people who love you the most
Volunteer. Hang around after church. Join a small group. Say "I just don't feel connected"
You are never alone
God has put the very word you need on the lips of someone at church. Make sure you're in community so you can hear it.
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. - Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. - Psalm 145:18
5 things to remember when you feel alone:
We're better together!
The word you need from God might already be on the lips of someone sitting next to you at church.
God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. - Galatians 4:4-5
You are designed for community
The LORD goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. - Deuteronomy 31:8
