Turkey Drive

O God, when I have food, help me to remember the hungry; When I have work, help me to remember the jobless; When I have a home, help me to remember those who have no home at all; When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer, And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency; bestir my compassion, and be concerned enough to help; By word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted. Amen. - Samuel F. Pugh

1. Feeling thankful until someone asks me what I’m doing with my life. 2. Being grateful even when the turkey is dry. 3. I’m thankful for the meal, not so much for the cleanup. 4. Hoping nobody asks you what you’re grateful for before you get to eat.

1: Before Thanksgiving... let's take a moment to reflect on God's faithfulness. 2: It's easy to make a list of what we're still lacking, but pause and remember what God has already done. 3: Maybe God answered a prayer. Maybe God got you through a difficult season. Maybe God opened a door you didn't see coming. 4: Share your testimony in the comments. Your story could be the encouragement someone needs to read today.
