OFFSCREEN VOICE: Hey Daniel! How do you know if you're a Christian?
HOST: That's a good question. Romans chapter 10 says, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." No one can take that away from you.
In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus says, "You will know those who love him and follow him by the fruit that comes from their lives." Jesus made it clear that the outflow from our life will be a sincere love for people, obedience to Him, obedience to His word, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit that sets our lives apart from the world.
